Refund Policy
A legal disclaimer
Tartan Social Academy provides digital educational products, including online courses, programmes, workshops and memberships.
Due to the nature of digital content being delivered instantly upon purchase, all sales are considered final unless otherwise stated below.
By purchasing from Tartan Social Academy, you agree to the terms of this Refund Policy.
2. Digital Products & Online Programmes
All courses, programmes and digital resources are delivered electronically.
Under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, consumers normally have a 14-day cooling-off period for online purchases. However, this right is waived once digital content has been accessed, downloaded or streamed.
By purchasing and accessing our digital content, you expressly consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that you lose your statutory right to cancel once access has been granted.
Therefore:
• No refunds will be issued once course access has been activated
• No refunds will be issued for partially completed programmes
• No refunds will be issued due to lack of time, change of circumstances or change of mind
3. Payment Plans
If you purchase a programme using a payment plan:
• You are committing to complete all scheduled payments
• Payment plans are not subscriptions and cannot be cancelled
• Failure to complete payments may result in access being suspended and recovery action being taken
4. Exceptional Circumstances
Refund requests may be considered in exceptional circumstances at the sole discretion of Tartan Social Academy.
Any request must be submitted in writing to: hello@tartansocial.com
Supporting evidence may be required.
5. Live Events / Workshops
If you purchase access to a live workshop or event:
• Cancellations made more than 7 days before the event may receive a refund (minus transaction fees)
• Cancellations made within 7 days of the event are non-refundable
• If you fail to attend a live session, no refund will be provided
If Tartan Social Academy cancels an event, a full refund will be issued.
6. Technical Issues
If you experience genuine technical issues preventing access to purchased content, please contact us immediately. We will work to resolve the issue.
Technical difficulties do not automatically qualify for a refund if access can be restored.
